Join artist Sally Mills on a creative journey to create your own Herb Printed Platters in pottery.
You have a choice of 3 difference designs templates to work from, an oval platter design, cheese board and a long chartreuse platter with handles. Perfect for entertaining this summer or gifting to someone special.
You will be taught how to impress the beautiful fresh herbs into the clay to decorate your creations. You will also be able to personalise your work with names/lettering if desired. You may have time to make a set of coasters in the same style.
This is a 2 session course that runs on 2 separate days (2 weeks apart). Each session is 1.5 hours long adding up to 3 hours of class time.
In the first session you will make the platters and press in the herbs and add handles if desired. 2 weeks later in the second session (once your platters have been through the kiln firing) you will be learning to paint the herb impressions with underglaze colours and adding glaze.
The course is designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned potters. No prior art experience is needed—
Sally’s relaxed, step-by-step approach makes it easy for anyone to craft something truly impressive.
